Hey guys,

my first post and instant not the easiest task, I think 🙂
I am right now testing the LDAP Extension for the TF2000 HMI System, but I can connect the HMI Server with the Server but no chance for logging in on HMI Login.
The Username and password are verified by windows test login, but HMI is logging everytime "Wrong Login" in the Server Log File.

In my Samba Log files I cannot find any attempt to login (audit already activated in Log)

I am using a freshly installed SAMBA LDAP Service for testing, I will test it against a Windows AD too for reference.

Anyone already did something like this / LDAP Setup?

Best Regards

Alright, i could fix it by myself. The problem is, that SAMBA v4 does not allow bind anonymous access without TLS. Problem here, I can activate secure TLS connection from Beckhoff to my LDAP SAMBA4, but the bind-user login does not work, i don't know why, i will contact Beckhoff Support. Without TLS and unsecure, AUTH in sambav4 LDAP now works correctly.

If someone wants more Informations about this, i can write a little KB article about LDAP Usage with Beckhoff. (Windows AD works too, no Problem)
