Hello,

when adding the Beckhoff library Tc3_DriveMotionControl, AXIS_REF cannot be linked in the NC channel, because this NC channel does not have to be added..., with this we save the NC PTP license.
So my question is how can you simulate an axis that has this library if we don't have the real physical hardware?

@rruiter ,

Does not help, A simulated axis in the NC PTP channel does not work,
the Tc3_DriveMotionControl library is not added to the NC PTP channel, AXIS_REF cannot be linked to the NC channel in the soft part of the PLC...
It is for simpler applications and you save the NC PTP license, they do not have, for example, GearIn, etc...
What I'm looking for is how to simulate the axis without having the real physical hardware...
thanks for trying to help... 😉 👍

I'm going to ask Beckhoff support in my country...

Answer from my Beckhoff support:

Hi Victor,

I attach an example program of the use of the library. You can disable the IOs, and run the PLC program. Since there is no logical axis, little else can be simulated without real hardware (we do not have a trajectory generator or simulated feedback as we do in the logical axis).

Greetings, thank you,

Hello,

I think I have found the solution...
I put it in the TcMotion organization, you are invited to collaborate ...
I make a repository and I'm investigating how to do it...
