Hello everyone,

I have created a few libraries on my own. Does anybody know how I can create a license for my library and query the license in my library code? The information I found on infosys were not very clear to me.

There's a licenses tab in the plc project properties, but I think the implementation for it is not there yet.

licenses

Any help or advice would be great! Thank you so much!

@iotea ,

if you create a library *.compiled-library, you can't see the code because it's compiled, because you also want to have a use license?, so that it can't be used if they don't buy it from you like Beckhoff does with his TF??

@runtimevictor Yes. You’re right. If you save the library as .compiled-library, you can’t see the source code, but you can still use it. I want to generate a license for the library and set the expiration date and check the license validity in my library code . There’s a way to achieve this. Instructions are not very clear on infosys. I hope someone who has done this before could share his method.

@iotea yes this is possible.  You'll need to apply for a free OEM license from Beckhoff.  The information you are looking for can be found by googling the following term "Issuing and using your own OEM licenses infosys" should be the top of the list. 👍
