* I switched to Config

* I switched to Freerun mode

Next I Pressed "Up" in "DIS Inputs", changed tab to Online, and Value is always 0

But I found something that works. In Tree on the left I Clicked Term 6 (EL6090) and in "CoE - Online tab" I selected auto-update.

Then in address 6000 I saw changing of the pressed key from FALSE do TRUE.

EL6090 PLC Something has changed

@mirek-boniewicz Good catch! To see the most up-to-date CoE parameter values, 'Auto-update' should be selected.

I'm a bit unclear on your actual problem. In your screenshot you have this line:

bButtonState := BUTTONS.bBUTTON_ENTER;

But in the I/O list you are only showing one linked variable which is the "Up" button, not "Enter."

When the variables are linked properly, are you unable to see them update in your program?

During tests I tried everything and that button's name was changed few times.

Linked variable doesn't changes its state when program is running.

@mirek-boniewicz Would it be possible for you to share your project? We can look at it and see what's happening.

@mirek-boniewicz

Can you try this program and check the button states in the Main program when you press the buttons?

@beckhoffsupport Thank you for fast response, but nothing has changed. All buttons' variables  are in FALSE state. I attached screenshot below.

EL6090 PLC After Launch

I will check it twice and back to this after weekend. Thank you very much for help. Best regards.

@beckhoffsupport Dear Support. I solved problem. I disconnected some modules from rail et Voila! everything is OK.

I left only IO Pins and Display and my old program works fine.

Later I will check power source, connectors and other potentially hardware failures. But now I'm back on track, so I can write again 🙂

Thanks a lot everybody! Have a nice Programmers Day 🙂

@mirek-boniewicz Glad you made it work! You can also check EtherCAT topology online to see which modules are causing the issue next time. Have a great Programmer's Day!
