Hello,

I have just installed TwinCat 3.1 build 4024.59 inside VmWare virtual machine running on windows 10 on VMWare player v17.

I can activate configuration and run program with some simple logic in the MAIN POU. I tried to create a simple ECAt program, by adding ECAT Master, EK1100 device with one EL1008 slave device.

I also added GVL list with IO mapping. The problem is when I try to associate network adapter with ECAT master. On my VM there is a virtual NIC by default defined as Intel 82574L Gigabit network connection. This device is listed as supported here:
https://infosys.beckhoff.com/english.php?content=../content/1033/tc3_overview/9309844363.html&id=

I have even checked the Device ID and it is in the list.

However, when I try to search for compatible device, TcRteInstall application is started and new driver is installed. The adapter is changed to "Ethernet 0-winCat-Intel PCI Ethernet Adapter" and listed under Installed and Ready to use devices.

But what I can see in the device manager is that this same adapter has exclamation mark and Device status:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

How to solve this this issue?

I do have a similar Codesys Project with same devices and I can connect them and scan for the connected slaves successfully.
