Since Tc3 4024.17 there is a User Mode Runtime, i wrote about this already on StackOverFlow (not sure if allowed to link it)

Up to this Date it is still in Beta, Release should be in 4026 i was told by the Beckhoff Support.

It let's u use a special Runtime as Target System without bothering with the known Hypervisor Issues.

In my Bash $Profile i set new Alias

Now to "Spin" this virtual Target System i just type UmRT in my Bash, and Voila.

then i can select it as Target System and use it.

Known issue until now, does not work with the NC from Beckhoff, but perhaps this Problem gets resolved soon.

@runtimevictor

or for the Twincat u Login or Logout as usually.

Your Question to the Bash Profile, what exactly do you mean?

i use the Powershell Core 7.3.0 and if i type "code $PROFILE"

i end up in my Profile (haha), there the above Function and Alias is set.

I hope this answered the Questions, otherwise please specify it more.
