Free online Twincat 3 courses (and more)
Since the pandemic some free intro courses became available at;

For me it has proven to be very helpfull; it allowed me to prototype my first machine. I have no idea how it compares to actual training at a beckhoff centre. I would actually be very interested to know how it compares to the actual in-person training 😉
Edit; for some reason link was gone
@a4sheet I went to a week of Beckhoff training in Minneapolis back in 2016. Apparently there were some cancellations so the class ended up being just me and the instructor. All in all it was a great experience. Being able to ask questions is the biggest benefit of in-person learning (assuming you have a knowledgeable instructor like I did). The online courses you mentioned are not bad but a bit dry in my opinion. I would definitely recommend Jakob's videos and the Contact & Coil tutorials that Roald mentioned.
