Utilizing hotkeys while programming will make your work flow quick and efficient. It's also possible to make your own or change existing ones.

Hotkeys 1
Hotkeys 2
  1. Select 'Tools' in the TwinCAT menu bar.
  2. Click on 'Options...'.
  3. In the 'Options' popup , expand 'Environment'.
  4. Select 'Keyboard'.
  5. Determine what command needs to be modified. The menu bar that contains each command is also displayed proceeding the command.
  6. Type in the desired shortcut and where the shortcut can be utilized. If Global is selected, then the hotkey can be used anywhere in TwinCAT to perform the specified command. If the shortcut is already being used elsewhere, it will be displayed below the 'Press shortcut keys' window.
  7. Assign the shortcut.

I've attached a Hotkeys excel sheet with some of the commonly used shortcuts. It will be expanded as time goes on.
