When windows can't run correctly,  a system crash occurs and users get a blue screen. We will show how to enable the system crash dump file on Windows, which you could use to troubleshoot a Windows crash problem.

Open the Control Panel and select System and Security, then System. Control Panel\System and Security\System. Click the Advanced system settings

coredump

Go to Advanced tabs and click Settings under Startup and Recovery section .

settings

Select Complete memory dump from the dropdown menu and save the dump file path (%SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP) somewhere you'd remember when you need it. Click OK.

A system crush dump file should be large enough to save the system crash dump setting. Now we need to check the setting for page file size.

Click the Advanced system settings again. (Control Panel\System and Security\System).

Go to Advanced tabs and click Settings under Performance.

Go to Advanced tabs, then select Change.

Check the option for Automatically manage paging file size for all drives, then Click OK.

Restart the Windows.
