We have one solution with CX9020 and UPS Battery from Phoenix Contact. This solution includes working with 5min of PLC On and 1h he's off. Our previous calculation was that this battery life would be for 7 days, for some reason it just holds for 3 days.

Previously we think that this problem was because of the license trial of Beckhoff, but it wasn't. We buy the license necessary, and this continues to happen.

We have already reviewed the PLC code to see if any parts that interrupt the cycle and drain the battery at once, but that was not the case.

We don't know if the problem is in the PLC or in the duration of the battery.

I know isn't so much information for the availability of the community, but if anyone has something to add it's already a welcome help.

Thank you!!

Att,

Arthur

@arthurppc hey Arthur, going to be really hard to help without more detail. Couple of things you can look at, does the IO use the same power supply? If so did you include it's consumption in your calculations? What is the size of the battery? The cx9020 uses 5W, but have you actually checked what the consumption is with everything on from the PSU? For example if you are using the USBs for devices this will increase the power draw.
