Hi, I don't think that you can have these protocols on the same port and it's better to sperate these networks.

EthernetIP scanner => Master /Client

EthernetIP Adapter =>  Slave / Server

The Scanner can control an EtherNet/IP session, capable of both reading data and writing the data to the adapters.

I am pretty new to Beckhoff's world.
I don t think that windows allow you to configure EtherntIP/Ethercat port on your development machine.

You have to configure your field networks on your target.

@alex ,

in a realtime ethernet port (intel chipset), ethercat, ethernetip, profinet cannot coexist in the same port, since they are real-time protocols...,

that's what I discovered if I'm not mistaken...

You re right, that why I said that you have to separate these networks.

Profinet is not real time except Profinet IRT (motion control).

EthernetIp is for sur not ''Real Time''. EthernetIp is very easy to set up, but be careful with the number of devices on the network.

For me one of the best industrial network is Ethercat. I used to do motion control with this fieldbus.
